Mixed media. Oil over an acrylic underpainting on stretched canvas.
Beginning of winter.
Camera on hand, I am exploring the plethora of different landscapes and topographies of the Sierra forest, during different times of the year and at different times of the day. After uploading the hundreds of photographs taken during the day into my laptop; I start the process of picking up the best shots for potential sketching and paintings.
About Walter Fahmy
Born in 1951. Lives in the central coast of California. Tutored by a fine artist/architect professor in an extracurricular art program during his high school years. While pursuing a career in pharmacy, he was also a member of the STUDENT ART LEAGUE at the University of Alexandria.
