Being so close to Yosemite; camera on hand, I am out of the studio, frequently recording the transformation of the scenery from season to season and from one day to the other.

One of the reasons I am not very prolific in painting nowadays, is my attempt at displaying the best photographs I have been shooting since I moved to the Sierra foothills. I have 100s of photographs that I am working on, editing and tweaking to display the grandeur and the beauty of the area I'm surrounded by, whether in the Sierras or the California Central Coast.
