Born in 1951.

Walter started participating in an extracurricular art group taught by an architect/ fine art professor while in high school.
During his college years, pursuing a career in pharmacy, he was a member of the student art league, tutored by fine art professors.

The masters of the late 19th century and beginning of the 20th century and beyond made him appreciate the colors, the exuberant effect of the palette knife or the noticeable brushstrokes on the canvas, conveying the artists’ emotions during their creative process.

Hence he always admired the avant-garde artists of their time; Van Gogh, Matisse, the fauves, Jackson Pollock, Joan Mitchell, Richard Diebenkorn, Helen Frankenthaler and others.
